In these challenging, unprecedented times, it is great to find something that supports local businesses (especially when they are breweries) and the community (you know, all of us that are self-isolating and having minimal contact with the outside world).
The Bar Towel, a digital journal about good beer and culture, written by a collective of good beer drinkers, for good beer drinkers, launched the Ontario Beer Index (OBDI). What is that you ask? OBDI tracks breweries across Ontario and their delivery options and provides links to their online stores. It doesn’t get much better than that.
So, instead of standing in line, 6-10 feet apart from another person, waiting to get inside the LCBO or Beer Store, why not stay safe at home and have it delivered? Doing so will not only support local breweries but help to reduce the spread of COVID-19. while supporting our local breweries?
