Dear Valued Customers & friends,

As COVID-19 continues to make an impact around the world we want to send an update. Yesterday the Ontario Government announced they are ordering all non-essential businesses to shut down in order to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus for an initial period of 14 days.

Lorpon Labels produces labels that are used in the supply chain of various industries that provide essential services, including health care, food, beverage and logistics. We take our role very seriously and in turn we will continue our operations, maintaining our regular business hours and serving the customers who depend on us. In addition, we will be prioritizing all essential services labels due to the extraordinary situation that we find ourselves in.

As mentioned in our last email, we are carefully monitoring and managing the health and safety of our employees. We have adjusted shifts to include evenings and weekends, have put a mandatory 1-hour equipment cleaning period between each shift and have staggered all breaks to ensure minimal contact amongst the team.  In addition, all meetings are being taken by video conference or phone.

Rest assured we will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they are needed.  As always, if you have any questions, our team is a phone call away.

Dear Valued Customers and Friends,

As all of us navigate through the challenging and uncertain times of COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to our valued clients and colleagues with an update. Rest assured, we are working to deliver your orders and provide the level of customer service you have become accustomed to, while making adjustments to ensure the safety of our team.

Our team and location

Effective immediately, the majority of our front office staff will be working remotely. For the time being, we have a select few individuals onsite to ensure the continuity of business. In addition, we have adjusted shifts, have implemented mandatory equipment cleaning period between each shift, increased the frequency of cleaning and sterilization throughout the building and have staggered all breaks to ensure minimal contact amongst the team. Although we enjoy seeing clients for meetings and press approvals, we are requesting that all meetings be taken by video conference or phone.

Materials

Last week we preemptively ordered materials that we are storing at an off-site location to guarantee fulfillment of orders. Further, our team will be reaching out to you over the next few days to ascertain what your expected orders may be, so we can ensure the right materials are in stock. We are committed to maintaining our stock levels or increasing as needed. Over our 35 years of business, Lorpon has worked diligently to establish great supplier relationships that provide us with a reliable supply chain of the products.

For many of you, although the coming weeks will be turbulent, they may also create more demand for your product.
