Our sustainability goals

Today, brands are facing pressure to step up their sustainability initiatives. Although a sustainable strategy encompasses much more than just packaging, a brands packaging is the one touchpoint all consumers will see. Lorpon Label is committed to offering more sustainable label option and we are committed to improving our environmental performance through partnerships with suppliers that provide renewable and recycled materials as well as recycling facilities for label waste by-products.

At Lorpon, we engage with the independent EcoVadis sustainability platform and our objective is to achieve Silver level recognition in 2025. We are committed to reduction of landfill waste and reduction of energy usage by 20% by 2030.

Recycling label waste

Lorpon Labels is partnered with RafCycle, the original label release liner recycling service, streamlining label waste management and bolstering the circular economy. Through the process of label waste collection, label backing paper recycling and PET film recycling, these materials are transformed into new resources, embracing sustainability and giving them a new life.

In 2024, our efforts in liner recycling resulted in 65.7 tonnes of PET release liner waste diverted from landfill creating a benefit of 80.8 tonnes of CO2e emissions compared to benefits of landfill.

Create bold concepts and make sustainable choices for your brands social, environmental and economic impact. At Lorpon Labels, we are committed to offering more sustainable label options. We know the label is a small part of your overall packaging, which is only more reason to make sure it’s not the thing that prevents your packaging from being as sustainable as possible.
